As a collective, we aim to support our comrades in the process of articulating their ideas about their work and the profession. At a time of extreme precaritization in academia—which is an extension of the structural pracarity characterizing life under neoliberal and neocolonial heterocapitalism—time and material resources required to write are not a given. The editorial collective is thus committed to working with writers by “editing with care” (Criser and Malakaj 2021, 300).
